“[Seoul Wire = Reporter Jung Yoon-sik] The Korea Bio Association announced on the 26th that it held the “”Bio Fair Development CMC Human Resources Training Course”” at the Gyeonggi Bio Center for two days from September 24 to 25 to strengthen the competitiveness of the bio industry as part of the “”Gyeonggi-do Bio Professional Training Project”” supported by Gyeonggi-do and run by the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency.

This course deals with the overall CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control) such as process development, quality control, and regulatory response, and aimed to strengthen the practical capabilities of the incumbent. About 40 people from the pharmaceutical and bio industries and academia participated.
The training focused on actual cases such as ▲ biopharmaceutical development trends at home and abroad and CDMO utilization methods ▲ CMC considerations when developing recombinant protein therapy and antibody therapy ▲ Analysis in biopharmaceutical development ▲ The importance of CMC statistics and statistical scope setting when approved and received great response from participants.
In addition, it was evaluated that it has increased practical applicability by providing the latest knowledge that can be used in the field immediately, including global regulatory trends and quality control standards. In particular, BXPLANT directly participated in curriculum composition and case provision by reflecting its experience in fair development accumulated in actual industrial sites, further enhancing the field-friendliness and professionalism of education.
