Establishing Mutual Cooperation Framework for Technology Commercialization in Bio Healthcare

 

[BioTimes] BXPLANT (Co-CEOs Minkeun Jo and Heesun Kim) announced on the 2nd that it has established a mutual cooperation framework with Korea University Medical Research & Business Foundation (Director Hak-Joon Kim) to advance technology commercialization outcomes in the cutting-edge bio healthcare sector.

 

The MOU signing ceremony, held on March 31st at Korea University MediScience Park, was attended by BXPLANT Co-CEOs Minkeun Jo and Heesun Kim, Korea University Medical Research & Business Foundation Director and Medical Research Director Hak-Joon Kim, along with key representatives from both organizations.

 

BXPLANT aims to foster global unicorn companies in the bio healthcare sector by providing full-cycle new drug development solutions encompassing R&D strategic consulting, clinical and preclinical research, and regulatory affairs.

 

Strategic Partnership for Innovation

The collaboration between Korea University Medical Center—which possesses extensive clinical research experience and medical technology, with all three of its hospitals (Anam, Guro, and Ansan) recently designated as research-focused hospitals—and BXPLANT is expected to generate synergies that accelerate the advancement of patient-centered treatments and drive medical technology innovation.

 

Through this agreement, both organizations will pursue comprehensive collaboration for full-cycle technology commercialization, including:

▸Discovery of outstanding technologies and R&D planning

▸Creation of technology commercialization outcomes through identification of demand-side companies

▸Startup consulting for promising technologies

▸Growth support consulting for startups
